OVERVIEW
Xccelerated AI is an emerging startup building AI-powered tools to break language barriers and expand global reach. Their flagship product, Voxbee, is an AI dubbing and voice cloning platform built for creators, helping them grow their brand and connect with audiences worldwide while preserving their unique voice.
As a UI/UX Design Intern at Xccelerated AI, I led the redesign of Voxbee’s website and brand identity to better cater towards content creators. By refining messaging, establishing a cohesive brand voice, and improving site structure, I aimed to communicate Voxbee’s value as a powerful AI tool and a trusted partner for creators growing their global presence.

TIMELINE
Jun. 2025 - Aug. 2025
PROBLEM
Although Voxbee is a powerful AI dubbing platform, its website did not reflect the product’s potential.
The previous design lacked visual appeal, with poor use of fonts, colors, and overall structure that made the site feel cluttered and unpolished. The brand voice also tried too hard to appeal to Gen Z, coming across as unprofessional and failing to resonate with content creators.
In addition, the language used across the site did not effectively communicate Voxbee’s value to its target audience. Key information and pages were missing, and the overall site structure lacked clear organization. These issues limited Voxbee’s ability to establish trust with creators and position itself as a reliable tool for global brand growth.
SOLUTION
To address these issues, the redesign establishes a clean, professional visual identity with cohesive typography, balanced colors, and clear structure to improve usability and trust. Messaging was refocused to speak directly to content creators, highlighting audience growth, time efficiency, and brand authenticity. With a streamlined brand voice and organized site structure, these changes establish Voxbee as a credible partner in helping creators expand their reach globally.

01. DISCOVER
What are the issues in the current site?
RESEARCH
In order to better understand the shortcomings of the existing Voxbee site and clarify the team’s goals, we evaluated areas of weakness and missing elements in the current site. We also researched industry best practices to benchmark against competitors and uncover opportunities to improve design, structure, and messaging.

We found that the existing website felt visually inconsistent and overly wordy, with quirky language that came across as unprofessional. Key sections were disorganized or incomplete, and the font choices in particular contributed to a lack of cohesion.
KEY FINDINGS
1.
Visually unsatisfying design
The site’s color palette, font choices, and overall layout lacked cohesion, leaving the interface feeling unpolished and unprofessional.
2.
Unappealing language and ununified tone
The quirky, casual language felt disjointed and ineffective in resonating with content creators, creating confusion around Voxbee’s brand identity.
3.
Missing key industry-standard information
Important details, such as clear feature explanations and trust-building elements (e.g., FAQs and resources), were absent, limiting the site’s ability to inform and convert users.
02. IDEATE
What pages do we need to design and add?
SKETCH
We first noted the pages the necessary pages of the website through a sitemap. Compared to competitors, Voxbee’s site lacked several industry-standard pages, such as Product, Resources, Enterprise, Contact, and Login/Sign Up. The absence of these pages made it difficult for users to navigate, learn about the product, and take meaningful next steps.

In addition to our own analysis, we gathered input from stakeholders to align on the direction of the redesign.
Clean, white aesthetic without distracting fonts, animations, and colors
Professional diction that accurately reflects product capabilities and captures the attention of creators
Cohesive brand identity, reflected through language, content, and visuals
03. PROTOTYPE
Turning our ideas into design.
LOFI
We began by developing low-fidelity wireframes to establish the site’s structure and layout.

BUILDING THE FOUNDATION
Before moving on to visual identity, we collaborated closely with stakeholders to refine the site’s content and messaging. This included aligning on tone, determining what information to highlight, and ensuring the language spoke directly to creators.
BEFORE
AFTER

Instead of overwhelming users with dense blocks of text, we restructured content into clear, digestible sections that highlight Voxbee’s value in an engaging way. Interactive elements, such as a video language selector, allow users to see the product in action rather than just reading about it. Additionally, the updated language directly addresses content creators, emphasizing how Voxbee helps them grow their audiences globally while preserving their unique voice and brand.
BEFORE
AFTER

The original site presented Voxbee’s features with confusing formatting, for example, arrows pointing to nowhere, hover effects that had no clear function, and casual language that failed to convey professionalism. In the redesign, these elements were replaced with a clean, organized layout where hover states reveal detailed descriptions without ambiguity. The casual tone was refined into intentional, professional wording that better communicates Voxbee’s capabilities and value to creators.
VISUAL IDENTITY
After iterating and finalizing the content for each page, we shifted focus to establishing a refreshed visual identity for Voxbee. While stakeholders wanted to retain the original green as the primary brand color, we elevated the palette by introducing lighter shades of green, along with a vibrant pink accent that complemented the green and added energy to the overall design.

05. REFLECTION
Key challenges and takeaways.
CHALLENGES
Open-Ended Design Direction
One of the main challenges in this project was working with very loose directions on the redesign. The original site already had a distinct color and identity, so creating a fresh, professional design while still maintaining familiarity for stakeholders required a careful balance.
Maintaining Audience-Centered Language
Another challenge was crafting messaging that resonated with content creators. This required avoiding overly casual or quirky phrasing while keeping the tone approachable and engaging. The language had to reflect creators’ goals, highlighting tools that expand reach and strengthen their brand, while maintaining professionalism.
Balancing Collaboration and Workload
A final challenge was delegating tasks to the other designer on the team. At times, I struggled with trusting others to handle design decisions or worried about overwhelming them with too much work. This hesitation led to me taking on more responsibility than I could manage, which ultimately became overwhelming.
WHAT I LEARNED
Being a Good Leader
One of my greatest struggles and lessons that I dealt with in this project and previous projects was learning to trust my teammates and delegating work appropriately to avoid overwhelming myself and to improve overall team efficiency. I realized that trusting others with responsibilities not only lightened my workload but also gave space for collaboration and fresh perspectives, which proved to be beneficial to the project.
Collaborative Feedback and Iteration
This project gave me hands-on experience gathering feedback from PMs, developers, and stakeholders in a professional setting. Incorporating their perspectives into multiple design iterations helped me refine my process and create solutions that met both user and business needs.
Building a Cohesive Brand Identity
This project allowed me to strengthen my ability to craft and maintain a consistent brand identity across tone, visuals, and messaging. By aligning the product’s voice with creators’ needs, I ensured the website felt both professional and approachable, while reinforcing Voxbee’s unique value.
